It's the Christmas season at the SWH Museum & Cultural Center. A sure sign of this can be seen by the lovely Christmas tree that graces the entrance of the Center..
The SWH Alumni also kicked-off the season with their Christmas party which was held at the Center last Saturday. The highlight of this gathering was a tribute to the Alumni staff that have worked tirelessly at the Center over the last few years, preserving the legacy of Professor Samuel Walker Houston and the Center at large, by handling the many things that are involved in this more than worthy endeavor.
All is not lost by those who perhaps missed this festive occasion. There were many photos taken and I intend to post a few of them here in the coming days; better yet, why not subscribe to this site and you will always be in the know as to what's going on at the Center. Simply go to the home page and sign up at the bottom of the page. Your name and email is all that is needed. It's totally free and we all know how we feel about "free'. . . It goes a long way.
Check out some of the faces that graced this tribute to the hard working alumni staff.
